Złoty Widok is one of many spots in the Szklarska Poręba Jizera Mountains offering stunning views of the Karkonosze Mountains. For many years, people have been eager to spend time walking and enjoying the picturesque views. Its proximity to Wlastimilówka, Chybotek, the Karkonosz Grob, and the Szklarka Waterfall also contribute to its popularity. Wooden deck chairs and a footbridge are also available on-site.

The observation deck, opened in spring 2020, is a very attractive place for relaxation with beautiful views of the Karkonosze Mountains, the Kamienna Valley, and partially of the Jelenia Góra Valley. Perched on a rocky cliff over 20 meters high, it is an exceptionally picturesque spot. The deck was created as part of a joint program entitled "Observation Towers, Viewpoints, and Hiking Trails in the Border Mountains," implemented in conjunction with the Czech partner Albrechtice in the Jizera Mountains. The easiest way to reach the Golden View is from Matejki and Wlastimilówka Streets, along the blue hiking trail and a short connecting path. You can also reach it from the parking lot on Jeleniogórska Street near the Szklarka Waterfall: follow the black hiking trail around Szklarska Poręba, then the Artistic Trail, and finally the blue hiking trail.
