The mountain shelter on Stóg Izerski, founded by Joseph Sebelt and financed by the Schaffgotsch family, dates back to 1924. Despite its modernity, the resort's emphasis on tradition is firmly placed on this structure, which is considered its pride. According to the owners, the interior has been modernized while retaining its original character, accentuated by Silesian-Lusatian architecture.

Inside the mountain hut, you'll find 10 rooms accommodating 2 to 10 guests, all equipped with full bathroom facilities. A kitchen with a buffet serves local specialties prepared according to homemade recipes daily. Near the hut, you'll also find the border crossing with the Czech Republic – Smrk – the most famous peak in the Jizera Mountains, which is also worth a visit, if only for the incredible views along the way.
